The Welcome In Programme at the Salvation Army, Worthing offers a range of tailored groups to suit our community. We have a passion for putting our faith into action by meeting the needs of the locals in Worthing and surrounding areas.

Welcome Break aims to provide carers the opportunity for respite whilst also offering a friendly environment for the person being cared for.

An array of activities and outings are organised to keep the members engaged during the sessions. The most recent trips have taken the members on exciting excursions to Broadbridge Heath and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

The project is partly funded by West Sussex Social & Caring Services and therefore we are able to charge a small amount of £25 per session. This allows us to run our diverse programme and covers all trips, activities, lunch and staff costs.
