About this provider

We support people to lead the life they want in the home they choose and to feel safe in their community. Flexible support packages range from light touch to 24 hour, to meet all needs.

Leading Lives provides social care support to over 1,200 customers and their families across Suffolk, North East Essex and parts of South Norfolk. While our primary focus is on adults who have learning disabilities, we are also able to support you if you have physical, multiple complex needs and autism, an acquired brain injury, wish to remain independent through age or ill health or are a young person making the transition to adult services.

We are a social enterprise. This means that we invest any surplus we make back into the support we provide for our customers or back into the local community through our Community Benefit Fund. So far we have given grants totally £30,000 to local community groups and charities.

We are also an employee owned organisation so our staff have a direct say in how the business is run.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of support from day time activities and courses, a network of community hubs, short break respite care, supported living, out-reach support in the community and support to remain independent in your own home. We have also introduced a Direct Payment Management Service and are a registered Individual Service Fund Provider, so that we can provide support with the management of personal budgets.

How We Work
Person centred approaches are fundamental to the way we work. This means we work with you, and the people close to you, to plan the support you receive based on your own wishes and interests. We can organise taster sessions so you can try new activities and we work with other local community organisations to offer a wide range of opportunities.
We will always work with you to establish the right support package.
Our aim is to provide a high quality support to enable you to lead a full, independent and active life; to lead the life you choose.
