OUR SERVICES - Aahana House provides accommodation for 13 service users on their recovery journey. Although Aahana House is a new unit, both directors of Sunrise Rehabilitation Centre have had numerous years of experience successfully managing similar establishments such as Kimberley Road (since 2000) and Admiral Healthcare Ltd (since 2007) which comprises of Admiral House and Sophia Maria House. Our aim is to provide accommodation in a controlled environment which is conducive to the recovery of service users.

OUR PREMISES - Aahana House is a large detached house situated on 97 Woodcote Grove Rd, Coulsdon, Surrey, CR5 2AN. It compromises of 5 double bedrooms on the ground floor, of which four are en-suite. Three of those rooms have walk-in showers. Ground floor rooms have wheelchair access. Additional to the bedrooms there is one bathroom, a large lounge area, dining room, kitchen and laundry facilities. On the first floor we have 7 bedrooms, 3 with en-suite facilities, two shower rooms and a study room/ recreational room. On the second floor we have a double bedroom with en-suite facility. We aim to prove a homely environment where service users are able to concentrate on rehabilitation and to get their life back together.

OUR APPROACH TO SUPPORT - We provide 24 hour care and work in partnership with the multidisciplinary teams such as Social Services, Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), GPs, advocates and families to rehabilitate service uses in the community. We work with people who have a wide range of mental health needs, from mild anxiety and depression to severe and enduring mental health problems. We have experience working with service users with a forensic history under various sections. When it comes to mental health conditions, receiving the correct support can aid recovery and improve symptoms. For other people, the right support means being able to develop coping techniques which can make a noticeable difference to their everyday lives.
