We are a 16 bedded residential care home for over 65s specialising in dementia care. Opened 35 years, family run and a home from home - our residents are our family!

We value each and every individual who comes to live at Sal Royd Villa. We welcome applications for respite stay, day care and long term stay. We also welcome people from all walks of life and with many different needs.

Although there are no nursing staff employed at Sal Royd Villa, Local General Practitioner’s, the District Nursing Team and the McMillan Nursing Team can be involved in the support of the resident. All residents can be assured that they will be treated with respect and dignity, and in accordance with their induvidual wishes.

We provide full wheelchair access to and from the home and spacious, well looked after gardens for the residents to sit out in the British summer. We also provide a parking area outside the home for the resident’s family. Nearby there are several churches, public houses and shops and a frequent bus service.
